"I am sixteen going on seventeen"


I remember gobbling down spoonfuls of dinner while the scene played out in front of my eyes. My nanny was seated right next to me as we watched Sound of Music for the 134957th time. I was just waiting for the moment to come, when that song was finally applicable to me. The time came, of course- but it didn't strike me the way I foresaw it to be.


Is 'foresaw' even a proper word?


K anyway, the point iS... CRAP I AM NOW OLDER THAN THAT FRIGGIN' BENCH-SKIPPING-PRO-NAZI BOYFRIEND OF HER'S- ROLFE!!!!!
