Remember how I was dying to catch The Spirit in theatres back in what? Christmas last year? I didn't because all I got was negative reviews from my friends :(

So anyway, I finally got the chance to watch it and it wasn't THAT bad. o_O It's sleek, graphic and extremely comical. No not comical as in graphic novel comic, but FUNNY comic. The movie felt very much like a fan's take on his latest obsession. It's not about what you like but what the director likes, how he sees it and his take on bringing his visions/dreams to life. Not all thoughts in our minds make sense and we never see things in the same tone- if you get what I mean. We exaggerate- for the sake of remembering it better or just for the pure FUN of it. There's nothing real smart about the story line so I definitely enjoyed how a couple of the scenes were played out- as silly as some may be ;)

I give it a 7.5/10.

Oh and bonus 0.5 for the topless ever-so-hot-i'd-run-back-two-flights-of-stairs-to-get-the-stupid-bottle-of-water-just-to-catch-another-glimpse-of-him-on-the-tv Gabriel Macht. < yeah only Tasha knows what this means.

8/10 then!!!! :D
