Today has to be the most bizarre day of my life.

I woke up this morning to a text from Sheryl saying that she can't make it for the morning practice and after a couple more back and forth- we decided to have it in the afternoon instead. That meant an overhaul of all the plans which I had made for the day. I had to do the last minute touch-up of my painting IMMEDIATELY after I get up, reschedule the COD in Bangsar to 12.30pm, head towards SS2 to buy myself breakfast and then off to Damansara Utama for practice. I will then come home to shower by 3pm, leave for Fye's baby shower in KJ and then off to Breakers for the live viewing.

Plans never work out.

Turns out my mum had taken my car out and that she won't be back by 12.30pm. My dad didn't want to drop me off either. So after throwing a couple of air punches in frustration, I got my uncle (who was nice enough to say yes) to drop me off at Bangsar. It was already 12.45pm. On the way there- we saw my car heading home so he decided to turn back and let me resume with my original plan of driving on my own.

I picked up my item, bought breakfast at SS2 and rushed to Damansara Utama- to find that I was the earliest. -____-' Sheryl was quite late as well so the practice ended (quite abruptly) 30 minutes behind plans. Took a real quick shower when I got home and then left for Shasha's house. Fye was glowing and all smiles, food was good and Pogie is really fat.

Headed off to Breakers with Shasha and Azim. Put up my Hyypia painting for auction where all proceeds go to the Hillsborough victims foundation -sorry I forgot the proper term for it. I originally had a base price of RM200 for the piece but it wouldn't matter to me at all even if it falls to RM1 because this is charity and whatever amount collected from the buyer reflects the sincerity and generosity of the crowd. It's not mine to decide. Needless to say, the crowd was so small and the final bidding price had gone to Shasha's RM20. ^^ Now I can keep a close eye on it!

I had only 30 bucks with me so I did try to do my part by bidding for the framed photograph signed by Ian Rush- which I got only for RM20! O_o. Phil Neal's only went to Mark for RM10. Oh dear. Jon then gave me another Ian Rush signed photograph (this time in black&white) for my efforts. Hahaha!

The game started with a minute of silence for the 96 and ended with a thrashing of Blackburn courtesy to a brace from Nando (the first was incredible) and goals from Agger and Ngog. Sha had that dreamy all-smiles Snow Whitey look plastered on her face after Agger scored. Elleh. Rafa also cracked up a smile so all in all, it was a bittersweet affair in Liverpool today :o)

We then headed towards Bangsar to drop Azim off. I was getting ready to move into the leftmost lane (so I wouldn't miss the upcoming left turn) of the highway in Hartamas when a car sped by me at a speed much higher than 120km/j. I was already accelerating but I managed to avoid it though I ended coming in really close to the tow-truck in front of me. Idiots. I then proceeded to make another attempt to get into the leftmost lane before I miss the junction so I turned on my indicators and inched into the lane but LO and behold, ANOTHER MOTHERFUCKER WAS SPEEDING ON THE LANE AS WELL! I didn't manage to see him until he was far too close for me to avoid. The sides of our cars hit and he signalled to stop by the road.

We got out and saw the bugger looking frustrated and all. He started talking about how I shouldn't have suddenly cut into the lane. He said that he saw me coming and flashed his lights at me so I'd notice.

What an idiot. First and foremost, it was not sudden. If it WERE sudden, the whole of my car would have been on the leftmostlane in a matter of seconds. It could only have looked "sudden" to him because he was going at a speed above 100km/j.

I retaliated by asking him why the fuck was he speeding on the leftmost lane and if he saw me moving in and that I had already partially crossed into his lane, why didn't he slow down?! Wouldn't it have made more sense to brake instead of FLASHING LIGHTS AT ME when we are THISCLOSE to hitting each other, something that only my passenger could have seen because he was on my left blind spot and proceed to hit me anyway?!

I was waiting for some sort of a reaction to that but surprisingly, he just put his hands up and apologised, claiming that this was all merely an accident.

Urm.. okay.

Maybe the biggest offense in this whole problem was the speed he was going at on the leftmost lane. And it was already close to midnight, mind you. So we got back into our cars and I dropped Azim and Sha off anyway.

Got home, told my folks about the incident. Mum thought I shouldn't have gotten out of the car but we argued that there were three of us anyway. I probably shouldn't have but I kept my key with me all the time. I then tried to lighten up the mood by giving my dad the Ian Rush photograph. He liked it but he was very focused on the Sunderland vs Utd game and my mum ruined the moment by asking some of the silliest questions which got my blood boiling again.

Then she said that I was stupid over some cash vs voucher situation which I had overlooked.

Well then, I am sorry I joined the stupid shoe design competition, I am sorry I got 2nd place, I am sorry that I won 300 bucks worth of vouchers and 1500 cash, I am sorry I didn't use the vouchers instead of the cash from my maid for my brother's birthday present, I am sorry I am stupid and sorry for everything else I might have done wrong.

Ugh this is one incident that reminded me of what Suki did for me in 2006. Sigh. I want you all back so badly.

PS, thank you Joe for getting me the medal!!!! ^^
