It's been quite a sad day. I'd received an e-mail from aviasoul saying that their Marketing VP is overseas on business matters and we will not be getting our money till next week. Whole lot of bullshit so I expressed my disappointment and requested for the exact date of their "supposed" transaction.

On top of that, I read about Hillsborough again. The letters that flooded the site was overwhelming. It touched my heart reading about the lives that were lost and how their friends and family coped with the disaster. It's not a footballing issue anymore. It's probably no different from many other disasters where lives are lost. Brian Reade was right. Why was justice not served? How can 96 people die and no one punished? Football supporters do not count. It is basically their fault because they are only seen as hooligan-potential and it's their fault they got into trouble. Because society has allowed itself to view the football fan as a moronic caricature. And the people who make decisions are happy to play along with this image because it makes their jobs easier.

Sad but true. In many ways I guess discrimination is in everyone of us. I am no different. You can't expect everyone to like everything under the sun.

Oh and Alex and Jen has split up. Damn... but they'll always be getting the support from the fans no matter what.
